Deacon Body of Alexander Baptist Church
Alexander recognizes a Deacon in accordance with 1st Timothy, Chapter three.  The word Deacon comes from Greek heritage which translates into "servant".  At Alexander, we take that translation literally and our Deacons "serve" in many ways.  Our primary role is to serve all members through a "Family Ministry" in which we assist the Pastor with their needs.  Some other roles include accompaning the Pastor during communion or leading a prayer service.  As Deacons, we also work in various outreach ministries and discuss congregational business matters.
